Survival horror prequel Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle is receiving a collector’s edition via GS2, which will be limited to just 5,000 units and will launch on September 26, 2023 — nearly a month after the standard edition come out.
The Collector’s Edition will set you back $49.99 and includes a number of extra Goodes, including the following:
- Character cards depicting the main cast for Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle, with each one featuring an illustration of the character and a detailed description on the back.
- Three enamel pins featuring the Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle logo, the Section 8 Tactical Elite log, and the imposing H.A.D.E.S. logo.
- Collectible stickers depicting the logo for the game, H.A.D.E.S. icon, and Section 8 emblem.
Daymare: 1994 is the sequel to Daymare: 1998 and sees players following ex-government spy, Dalila Reyes, who is now working for the Hexacore Advanced Division for Extraction and Search (H.A.D.E.S.). Daymare: 1994 adds new weapons and a revamped menus system.
For those unaware, the Daymare series is developed by Invader Studios, who worked on a fan remake of Resident Evil 2 back in 2015. While Capcom issued a takedown request of that project, the Japanese studio invited Invader Studios to help work on ideas for the official Resident Evil 2 Remake.
