Remember Illusion, who got the likes of Bloodborne and Red Dead Redemption 2 running at a blistering 60 FPS on PS5? Well, they’ve come up with the goods again, this time releasing an The Order 1886 PS5 60 FPS mod, and suffice to say, you’d be forgiven for forgetting this game came out in 2015. It looks that gorgeous.
Digital Foundry has provided an in-depth look at the game in a new video, using footage from Illusion’s mod. If you’re a fan of The Order 1886 and fancy looking at Ready at Dawn‘s shooter with a bit of split and polish, then definitely check out the footage below.
The Order 1886 was a visual showpiece for the PS4 when it launched back in 2015, and despite luke warm reviews at the time, there’s no denying that it was technically one of the most impressive games on the market. Unfortunately, a sequel never materialised despite constant rumours, and The Order 1886 never received a PS4 Pro or PS5 patch to give its already-impressive visuals a modern polish.
